Neon Dance AI
Privacy Policy
What Neon Dance AI collects when you turn two photos into a dance video, who processes it, and how to delete it
Neon Dance AI turns two photos into a short dance video. That means we handle some personal data you might care about a lot: pictures of you, your friends, your family or your pets. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, how long it stays around, and what you can do about it. "Neon Dance AI", "we" and "us" refer to the operator of https://neondanceai.app.
At a glance
- You sign in with Google. We get your name, email address and profile picture. We never handle a password.
- Your uploaded photos, the generated portraits and your finished videos are stored in Cloudflare R2 behind unguessable links and are shown only to you on the site.
- To run a render, your photos are sent to the AI model providers we use (Replicate and kie.ai). They keep temporary copies, which usually expire within about a day.
- Stripe handles payments. We never see your full card number.
- We don't sell your personal data.
- Deleting your account from settings removes your account data and your stored photos and videos.
- Questions or requests go through https://neondanceai.app/contact.
What we collect
From Google when you sign in
Sign-in is with Google only. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We use them to create your account, show who is signed in, and email you about your account and purchases.
How you found us
When you first sign up, we store a small record of where you came from: the UTM source, medium and campaign of the link you clicked, the referring website, and the page you first landed on. This is saved on your user record and is visible only to our administrators. We use it to understand which channels bring people to the site. It comes from a first-party cookie described in our Cookie Policy.
Your photos and videos
To make a video, you upload two photos, each of a person or a pet. From those we create:
- two full-body studio portraits, made by an AI image model; and
- the finished dance video, an MP4 of about 16 seconds with a soundtrack added.
We also keep details about each job, such as when it was created, its status, and whether it succeeded or failed. We need this to show your history and to refund credits automatically when a render fails.
A photo of a face can count as sensitive data in some places. We use your photos only to produce the portraits and video you asked for. We don't use them for facial recognition or to identify people.
Payments and credits
Stripe processes every payment. Stripe sends us what we need to deliver what you bought: a customer reference, the product or plan, the amount and currency, the payment status, and subscription dates. We keep a record of your orders and a ledger of credits granted, used, refunded and expired. We never receive or store your full card number.
Messages you send us
If you contact us through the contact page or by email, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply.
Technical and usage data
Like most websites, our hosting provider handles technical data such as IP address, browser type and request logs to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse. If analytics tools are enabled (see below), they collect information about page views and how the site is used.

Who processes your data
We use a small number of service providers. Each one only receives what it needs for its part of the job.
- Google: sign-in with Google.
- Stripe: checkout, subscriptions, invoices and the billing portal.
- Cloudflare: hosting the site on Cloudflare Workers, our database (D1), file storage for photos, portraits and videos (R2), and a cache (KV).
- Replicate: runs the image model that creates the studio portraits, and may also run the video model.
- kie.ai: provides API access to the Seedance 2.5 video model that renders the dance.
- Resend: sends transactional emails such as purchase and account notices.
- Analytics and support tools, only if enabled: Plausible, Google Analytics and the Google Ads conversion tag, Microsoft Clarity, Umami, and Crisp chat.
How your photos reach the model providers
To run a render, your photos and the generated portraits are uploaded to the model provider's own temporary file storage so the model can read them. The provider processes them, returns the result, and keeps its temporary copies under its own retention rules. These copies usually expire within about a day. Providers also run automated content checks and may reject a photo; if that happens the render fails and your credits are returned.
Some of these providers are based in the United States or other countries outside where you live. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses or similar mechanisms.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers, except that the Google Ads conversion tag, if enabled, reports that a conversion happened.
How long we keep it
- Photos, portraits and videos: kept in Cloudflare R2 under an unguessable link tied to the job, until you delete your account. They are only shown to the account owner on the site.
- Provider copies: temporary, governed by each provider, and usually gone within about a day.
- Account data and attribution: until you delete your account.
- Payment and order records: kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after you delete your account.
- Messages to us: kept as long as needed to deal with your request, then deleted in the normal course.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from your settings at any time. This deletes your account records and the photos, portraits and videos we stored for you. It doesn't reach copies you've downloaded or shared yourself, and it doesn't remove payment records we're required to keep.
Security
Stored files sit behind long, random links that are only shown to you while you're signed in, and access to our systems is limited to what is needed to run the service. Payments go through Stripe's hosted checkout. No system is perfectly secure, though, so please don't upload photos you would not want processed by an online service.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, EEA or UK
You can ask to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, for example for some analytics cookies, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you're in California
Under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to ask us to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We don't sell personal information. If ad conversion tracking is enabled, you can limit it by declining or blocking those cookies. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Making a request
Send your request through https://neondanceai.app/contact using the email address on your account. We may need to confirm it's you before acting. Most things, including deleting everything, you can do yourself from your account settings.
Children
Neon Dance AI is not meant for children. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy credits, and we don't knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the higher age set by local law). Photos of minors may only be uploaded by their parent or legal guardian. If you think a child has given us personal data, or that someone uploaded a photo of your child without permission, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to let you know before they take effect.
